Medvedev explained the change in his rhetoric since 2010

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev explained on his English-language Twitter account the change in his rhetoric compared to 2010, blaming the United States for it.

In the comments under Medvedev’s post dedicated to the special military operation (SVO), American venture investor, billionaire Steven Jurvetson said that he remembers the author in a completely different way. He attached a 2010 photo from a speech by Medvedev, then President of the Russian Federation, at Stanford University and asked why such a change had taken place.

“This is entirely your (your authorities’) fault,” Medvedev replied, adding a smiley face.
